Ben Young, BFA

BEHAVIORAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR

Ben is a valued Financial Advisor assisting individuals with their financial goals. Ben is passionate about advising clients and organizations across the country on the best methods to grow and retain their assets. A progressive entrepreneur, Ben’s provides astute observation and to understand complicated strategies by applying an educational approach.

Ben is a Northern California native and is raising his two children with his wife, Lacey, in the foothills of El Dorado County, CA. He attended Weber State University where he pursued engineering and computer related fields. This educational foundation accelerated his growth in analytical and technical aspects of financial planning. In addition to his several professional licenses he has acquired, Ben is also received his certification in Behavioral Finance. In 2009 Ben established Astute Wealth Management in beautiful Cameron Park. In his spare time Ben enjoys traveling, sports, working on his home, and spending time with friends and family.

Greg Young

TAX ADVISOR

Greg grew up in the foothills of El Dorado County. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management from the Marriott School of Business. He then got a Masters of Accountancy with an emphasis in tax from the University of Utah. Greg has over ten years of experience working directly with individuals and businesses to come up with concrete tax saving solutions. Greg currently lives in Utah with his wife and three kids.

Lacey Young

OPERATIONS MANAGER

A native to Salt Lake City, Utah, Lacey is easy to talk to. Through the last 13 years Lacey has become an experienced administrative assistant in the financial services industry. She has worked with different advisors in different offices and understands the need for excellent service to clients. She appreciates the need for ongoing communication and accuracy. Lacey strives on getting the job done right the first time. The clients are the reason Lacey enjoys her job on an ongoing basis. Lacey is also a mother of two beautiful kids and enjoys spending time with them in their activities. Despite being Ben’s wife, she still recommends him to her close friends.

Antonio DiMatteo

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE

Antonio recently joined the Astute Wealth Team after working in the bank industry for eight years. He has valuable knowledge and experience in finance. He specializes in client relationship building and believes that providing valuable assistance is key to great customer service. Before joining our team, Antonio worked as a Relationship Banker at a local Wells Fargo branch. Antonio is extremely passionate about personal finance. Antonio believes that understanding financial options and creating a plan is key to financial freedom.

Antonio is a native of the Northern California area. He currently resides in the foothills of El Dorado County with his wife raising their two kids. Antonio graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in General Geography. Antonio enjoys sports such as soccer and swimming and anything to do with the great outdoors like hiking and camping.

Renee Villanueva

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Renee joined our firm last year after the recent passing of a dear friend and colleague, Henry Sandigo. She has eight years of experience in the financial services industry providing customer service. Renee is truly passionate about her work and the people she services. She is loved by those she knows and works with.

Renee and her husband (of 38 years) moved to the foothills eight years ago after living in the bay area town of Half Moon Bay where they raised 3 children. She grew up in a small farm town in Minnesota before moving to California. Renee enjoys time with family, her grandkids, her faith and is a big lover of dogs.
